This will basically be another update post on my progress in the MKMMA course, as well as changes in my DMP.
One item, that has not only been achieved, but obliterated has achieving and maintaining my weight of 190 pounds. When I initially set this goal, I was north of 205 pounds. Last time I weighed myself I was down to 183lbs. At this point, I don’t want to go down any further than that. Basically, I achieved my weight loss, through no major workout regimen or fancy faddish diet. I just reduced the amount of food I ate especially for dinner, and if I bought food outside the home, I would often stretch it into 2 meals. At this point, I fill up pretty fast, and I don’t eat food until I’m uncomfortably full anymore. Even the traditional eating holidays of Thanksgiving and Christmas, I kept my portions down and didn’t overeat.
I am ecstatic with these results and others have noticed as well.
I also am excited that I am easily doing all the readings, affirmations and exercises in the course. The weekly service that I promise to do on my service card, is also easily achieved.
Over the past week, I had an experience that also showed what can be manifested through adherence to this MKMMA course, as well as prayer. This past Sunday, I woke up to a pain around the heel of my left foot, and was having difficulty walking on it. This difficulty affected me for the following 2 days as well. Through including it in my nightly prayers with my 7 year old son, as well as affirming my good health, through the following affirmation: ” I am whole, perfect, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy”. Yesterday, which was Wednesday, I was able to walk normally with very minimal discomfort and today I’m pretty much fully normal. This stuff really works, as if I needed more proof!
As far as my new Definite Major Purpose(DMP) that I crafted this past week, I am very excited to read it and feel it deep within! Most of the beginning and the end was kept the same, however I added to it that I hosted my own Retire Myself from the J.O.B party at a restaurant near my old employer. This restaurant I pass daily and I plan to eat lunch their frequently, to soak up the atmosphere and aroma, as I manifest this first internally and then externally.
“It takes someone with a vision of the possibilities to attain new levels of experience. Someone with the courage to live his dreams.” Les Brown
The above quote connects very easily with the themes of this weeks Master Keys.
The first key point was in the introduction to Week 12’s Master Keys:
“You must first have the knowledge of your power; second, the courage to dare; third, the faith to do”.
The first part of that sentence is self-evident, if you don’t have knowledge of your power, you certainly will not assert your power! Secondly, being aware of your power is not enough. You must have the courage and faith to assert that which you are aware!
As far as the rest of the Master Keys, my main takeaway is that of “Clarity of Thoughts”. And by thoughts, I am referring to the thoughts that consist of one’s DEFINITE MAJOR PURPOSE in life. Part Six, mentions; “your ideal must be sharp, clear-cut, definite”. It goes on to state and I paraphase, that it shouldn’t be an ideal that is constantly changing. This leads to scattered, ineffective results.
One more point, that really struck home with me is that how “Love” is so important to the concept of the Law of Attraction. Part 18 states that; “Feeling is desire, and desire is love. Thought impregnated with love becomes invincible”. Love adds the emotional aspect that will help those thoughts become real in the world within before it becomes real in the world without.
“Believe that ye receive and ye shall receive”
Another pivotal week in the MKMMA experience, which it most certainly is, as opposed to a merely a course!
This weeks master keys lesson really focused and drilled home on “FAITH”. Without this key component I really don’t see anyone being able to achieve the dharma in life or DEFINITE MAJOR PURPOSE.
Loved contemplating the following biblical quote this week during my daily sits:
“What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them”. (Mark 11:24)
That quote is in synergy with the philosophy of “The Law of Attraction”. What one desires and most thinks about, is what one is creating and manifesting in one’s life. The principle of “cause and effect”. The thinking is the cause and one’s life outcomes are the effects. Therefore, to change one’s life and it’s outcomes, one must first change their thinking!
This law is unavoidable, as we are learning in the course, this law is always in constant effect. It’s either working for you and your benefit. Or it’s working against you to your detriment.
This week not only did I focus and read Part 11 of the Master Keys daily, I also re-read parts 9 and 10 prior reading 11. Good thing I have a long commute each day from my job, and can easily make this a part of my daily habits. I find these parts of the master keys blending and working together perfectly!
I am so excited to be manifesting my definite major purpose, each and every day through all the readings, affirmations and assignments.
“I ignore the obstacles at my feet and keep mine eyes on the goals above my head.”
The above is one of many of the impactful phrases in Scroll 3 of Og Mandino’s The Greatest Salesman in the world. The dominating theme of this scroll is “Persistence” and not giving up until one succeeds.
In order to succeed at anything, when faced with any obstacles, one must concentrate and focus on their goals, instead of their problems. Sometimes, of course, this is easier said than done. However, with proper mental work and re-training the brain this can be accomplished. One of the Seven Laws of the Mind, come in handy with respect to concentrating on goals and not obstacles. The law of substitution, which is instantly replacing a negative thought with a positive one. This is because the mind cannot think about 2 things at the same time. The liberating aspect of this is that we have the power to choose and influence what we think about. That is extremely exciting to me. We are in control!
Not only are thoughts vital in this process, words are also extremely important to watch what you allow to come out of your mouth!
“I remove from my vocabulary such words and phrases as quit, cannot, unable, impossible, out of the question, improbable, failure, unworkable, hopeless, and retreat; for they are the words of fools. “
Throughout the MKMMA course, we are encouraged to use words that will build up our new blueprint as opposed to words that will hold us back! With our guides help, we carefully worded our Definite Major Purposes(DMP) that will help us design the future that our souls are desiring. In all aspects, of my life, whether professionally or personally, I kept a vigilant guard as to what my tongue delivers out of my mouth.
I am so excited regarding the changes that are manifesting in my life, as the result of my 2nd year in the MKMMA.
I AM WHOLE, PERFECT, STRONG, POWERFUL, LOVING, HARMONIOUS & HAPPY
This relatively short but powerful affirmation, is such a game-charger! I know I have said that a lot during the various lessons and readings, there are many pivotal concepts that are literally life changing!
I first incorporated it into my daily life, in regards to my new born daughter who had a condition that required hospitalization and then meds for months. I would say her Princess Iyanna, you are “whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy.” I would affirm this for her when I’m holding her or whenever I thought of her no matter where I was, whether driving in my vehicle, at my desk in my corporate job, pretty much anywhere and everywhere.
This affirmation is also an important tool for use, in the concept of “the law of substitution”. Whenever a negative self-thought would crop up in my thoughts, its important to immediately replace those thoughts with positive ones! To make the Law of Attraction work in a positive way, one must control their thoughts and focus on the positive!
This weeks MKMMA lesson starts to impress on us participants the importance of constructive thoughts in our journey to build a new blueprint and to bring about the manifestation of our Definite Major Purpose!
Thankfully, one of the Seven Laws of the Mind, provides vital assistance, in the task of controlling and guarding our inner thoughts. The one that I’m referring to is the Law of Substitution. Paragraph 5, states: If your thought has been critical or destructive, and has resulted in any condition of discord or inharmony in your environment, it may be necessary for you to cultivate a mental attitude which will be conducive to constructive thought.
This week continues the challenge of trying to successfully complete a full seven straight days of the mental diet. Which consists of having no negative thoughts whatsoever, either towards others, myself or any circumstances that I encounter. This is by far one of the most challenging and difficult assignments thus far of the MKMMA course. It is vital to keep all of one’s channels completely clear of negative energy, in order to manifest positive outcomes!
I have had numerous restarts and currently as I write, I have completed two days and look forward to finishing day 3 tomorrow.
This weeks Master Keys, I feel is one of the one’s that I will continue to come back to, even as I progress deeper into the course. Having the MKMMA experience consume my every decision and thought, I need to make sure this weeks lesson encompasses the base and structure of my new reality.
It’s been a challenging couple months for me, since around the Thanksgiving Holidays through this first week of the new year 2016. A lot of the challenges have been self-induced, which is why it’s a good thing I am a part of the MKMMA course. My old blueprint of self-sabotage, is still occasionally rearing itself, as I drive to forge my Definite Major Purpose(DMP) into fruition.
Reading the Master Keys, the 3 readings of Og Mandino’s Greatest Salesman, the Blueprint Builder, my DMP, as well as the 15 minute sit, is helping to keep my eyes focused on where I’m going. This is vital that I don’t dwell on my mistakes of the past and my current financial predicaments. The Law of Substitution is definitely a “game-changer” in ripping apart my old blueprint.
While a may be in a financial crisis at the moment, this too will pass! I am Nature’s Greatest Miracle! Failure and lack is not why I was created and I will persist until I succeed!
